Uttar Pradesh government has proposed the grant of laptops free to students who have excelled in classes X and XII. The state is scheduled to hold this year's Assembly Elections early next year the state government has plans to give 20 lakh laptops free for its students. Students in class X and XII have to apply online to be eligible for the offer.
